Benefits of Private Pay
Private Pay Therapy for Parents, Caregivers, Adolescents and Teens Specialized Telehealth in Florida, California, Utah and (Arizona and Illinois pending)
Why Private Pay?
- More privacy!
- More flexibility!
- More support!
Private pay allows you to receive therapy without the limitations, diagnosis requirements, or barriers that insurance often places on families—especially those navigating medical complexities or higher-level emotional needs.
Many families choose private pay because:
- You want a therapist who truly understands medical trauma, advocacy fatigue, and caregiver grief.
- You prefer privacy and don’t want yourself or your child labeled simply to qualify for services, as insurance mandates.
- You need the option for more frequent or longer-term sessions than insurance typically allows.
- You want therapy that fits your real life— not a system of rules and restrictions.
- You have the choice to submit a superbill or use an FSA account when you private pay.
With private pay, you and your therapist make the decisions about your care—NOT the insurance company.
